Language & Culture Immersion Tour

Westminster’s China Language and Culture Immersion Tour is a longstanding tradition, running every two years since 2013, providing students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Chinese language, culture and history in real-world contexts. In 2026, selected students from Years 7 to 12 will travel through Beijing, Pingyao, Xi’an and Shanghai for a truly immersive and memorable experience.

The tour is a valuable opportunity for students to practice their Mandarin skills, connect with Chinese students through school visits, and discover China’s rich cultural heritage.

Dates:

Thursday 26 March to Thursday 9 April 2026.

Travel Information:

Students will depart from Adelaide, flying via Singapore with Singapore Airlines.

Note: As this is an international trip, a valid passport with at least six months before expiry is required to attend.

Staff:

Jing Zhou

Cost:

The estimated cost for the 2026 tour is $5600–$5800, with a payment plan available over six months. Students must be enrolled in Chinese and have school fees up to date to participate.

The tour is limited to 25 students.
