Community Groups Annual General Meetings
Two of Westminster’s valued community groups will hold their Annual General Meetings in the coming months. Whether you’re already involved or interested in finding out more, the Friends of Performing Arts (FOPA) and Parents & Friends Club (P&F) AGMs are a great opportunity to connect with other families, hear about the year’s activities and discover ways to get involved in our School community.

Friends of Performing Arts (FOPA) AGM
The Westminster community is warmly invited to attend the Friends of Performing Arts (FOPA) Annual General Meeting and hear more about how you can be involved in supporting performing arts at Westminster.
Tuesday 13 October | 6.30 pm | MMC Foyer
The AGM will be followed immediately by the General Meeting, with bubbles and light refreshments afterwards as we celebrate another great year of performing arts at Westminster.
President Nominations
Nominations are now open for the position of FOPA President. We encourage interested parents and carers to consider nominating and helping lead FOPA into its next chapter. To view the FOPA President Position Description, click here.
Nominations close at 5.00 pm on Friday 9 October and can be submitted by emailing mchurchett@westminster.sa.edu.au.
Get Involved
FOPA plays an important role in supporting Westminster’s music, drama and dance programs, providing hospitality before performances, assisting with theatre events and kiosks, and helping create a welcoming performing arts community.
There are plenty of ways to be involved without making a significant time commitment. We’re always looking for volunteers to assist with hospitality and events throughout the year, making it a great way to meet other families while supporting our students and their performances.
Whether you’re a current FOPA member, interested in joining or would simply like to find out more, we’d love to see you at the AGM.
P&F Club AGM – Save the Date
The Westminster community is warmly invited to attend the Parents & Friends Club Annual General Meeting, followed by dinner and an opportunity to connect with fellow members of our School community.
Thursday 26 November | 6.00 pm | The Marion Hotel
This year, we’re changing things up with an early evening AGM followed by dinner. It’s a chance to reflect on the year, hear an update on the P&F Club and celebrate everything achieved through the support of our families and volunteers.

The P&F plays an important role in building a connected Westminster community through events, fundraising initiatives and volunteer opportunities that support our students and School.
The AGM is a great opportunity to learn more about the P&F, meet other parents and carers, and find out how you can be involved in the year ahead.
