Service and Immersion Tour to Thailand – Expressions of Interest Open
We are delighted to share a special opportunity for our day students to take part in a Service and Immersion Tour to Thailand. This experience mirrors the much-valued annual Service Trip to Vietnam undertaken by our boarding students, offering meaningful cultural engagement and service learning.
The 11-day program will take place during the mid-year holidays in 2026, from Thursday 25 June to Sunday 5 July. Students will participate in hands-on service activities at schools in Thailand, as well as enjoy unique experiences including visiting elephant sanctuaries, white-water rafting and connecting deeply with Thai people and culture.
This opportunity is available to current Year 8, 9, 10 and 11 students. To be considered, please complete the Expression of Interest Form by Wednesday 17 September, 5.00 pm.

Spotlight on Sport
Summer Sport Returns
As we look ahead to Term 4, our Summer Sport program will resume, with training commencing in Week 9 of this term and continuing through Week 10. For most sports, matches against other schools are scheduled to begin in the first week back next term. Specific details regarding training schedules and fixtures will be shared directly by individual sport team managers.
For students who participated in Summer Sport during Term 1, it is expected that they continue their involvement into Term 4, as this forms part of the same season.
Celebrating Record Participation in 2025
This year has seen a remarkable surge in co-curricular sporting involvement across the School. We have welcomed 172 new participants in Senior School sport and 170 new participants in the Prep School, representing an impressive 19% increase in overall sporting participation compared to previous years. This growth reflects our students’ enthusiasm, the breadth of opportunities available and the strength of our co-curricular culture at Westminster.
Equally pleasing is the noticeable improvement in student commitment to attending training sessions and the way students are communicating proactively with coaches and team managers if genuine reasons for absence arise. This shared sense of responsibility and respect strengthens our teams.
