Allied Health Services Update
As part of our Allied Health Program, we are pleased to announce that Vanessa Scholz, Psychologist from Upward Psychology, will be available to support Westminster families beginning Term 3 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during term time.
Vanessa, who joins our current External Psychologist working on sit David, is a compassionate psychologist experienced in assisting young people with emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, tailored to meet each individual's unique needs.
Services offered include:
- Psychological therapy for individuals and families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and self-esteem.
- Comprehensive psychological and educational assessments, including evaluations for learning disorders and ADHD.
Upward Psychology offers regular evidence based psychological intervention through therapy services delivered directly on school grounds, helping students access timely support with minimal disruption to their school day.
Our two principal psychologists are dedicated to support the needs of the Westminster school community on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We work collaboratively with school staff and families to provide personalised, school-aligned support.
We can assist with:
- Emotional regulation, anxiety, and low mood
- Social skills and peer relationships
- School adjustment and learning confidence
- Academic stress and performance challenges
- Sporting pressure and performance mindset
- Mental health concerns affecting everyday functioning
Our integrated, school partnership model ensures young people receive holistic support where and when they need it most.
