Your questions answered
What is Veracross?
Veracross is the Student Information System selected to provide Westminster’s central foundation for School information. It will work alongside other applications used across the School.
Will everything move into one system?
Some specialist applications will continue to have a role. The aim is to make our systems work together more effectively and give staff clear guidance about where each task belongs.
What is happening with our learning management system?
Teaching and learning requirements are being considered alongside Veracross. Confirmed decisions about the learning management system and related workflows will be shared here.
When will the changes happen?
Implementation involves several activities and decisions. Confirmed milestones will be published in the progress section and relevant teams will receive more specific information before changes affect their work.
Should I change how I work now?
Continue using current systems and processes unless you receive specific instructions. This page will explain upcoming changes and any preparation required.
Will training be provided?
Training and practical support will form part of the transition. Details will be shared as workflows and implementation timing are confirmed.
How will we know whether WISER is working?
We will look at whether staff can complete tasks more easily, whether duplication is reduced and whether information is more reliable. Staff feedback and adoption measures will help identify where further improvement is needed.
