Congratulations to Jack Higgins (Year 10 Forder), who has had a stellar season at Brighton Lacrosse Club. Jack was awarded Most Valuable Player, U15 Boys' Best and Fairest. He has also been awarded Brighton Seacliff Yacht Club’s laser class club champion for 2019/20 season.
Quinn Auricht (Year 10 Jeffries) won Australian Sailing South Australia Under 19 Youth Sailor of the Year award again this year. He also won the SA State Windsurfer Class title on the weekend, being 1st in the light weight category and 2nd outright overall.

Angus Van Kruyssen (Year 7 Jeffries) and Alexander Gellert (Year 7 Heaslip) were selected for the South West Region Softball Team which came third at the recent SAPSASA Softball competition.

In Week 5, 14 Westminster students competed in the Volleyball SA Schools Beach Volleyball Festival at Glenelg beach, with our Year 9 and Year 10 Boys’ teams each winning their division. Our Year 9 Girls' team finished a very commendable 3rd place in their division. An outstanding effort by all, given this was the first time many of these students had played beach volleyball.

The Share Market Game is an Australia/New Zealand/International game where students are allocated $50,000 to buy and sell stock with the genuine stocks available on the ASX.
Holly Barnett, Lachie Sims, Natalie Lara-Lopez and Gus Solomon’s syndicate placed #1 in SA, and 12th overall in the Aust/NZ/International 15,913 syndicates and only by $38 - they would have been in the Top 10 in Australia! All of the Year 10s entered - there were 18 syndicates from the current Year 10 Cohort here at Westminster.
