Student Achievements - Edition 1 - 2019
Congratulations to the following students on their achievements...
Abbey Bell (Year 8 Carter) has been selected into the FFSA U14 State Girls Squad for soccer. During the holidays she also competed at the Australian Futsal Nationals held in Sydney U14 Boys comp. Because of her performance at Nationals, Abbey was selected to represent Australia in an U14 boys/girls team to tour UK later in the year.
Ryan Bell (Year 10 Carter) also competed at the Australian Futsal Nationals held in Sydney, competing with the U15 Boys team. They did very well finishing top of their group and made the semi-finals. Because of his performance, Ryan was selected to represent Australia in an U16 Boys team to tour Spain.
William Arnold (Year 12 Dunstan) played exceptionally well finishing runner-up for the Victorian Junior Golf Open Title in December. The dramatic finish saw him in a three-way playoff. His result has unlocked a world amateur golf ranking! Currently Will is 5,729 in the world, (and that’s not for his age!). Will is currently ranked #6 in Australia for U18 golf.
