Sleep Clinic - Edition 6 - 2019

Sleep problems during the school years have been associated with negative outcomes in many domains, including poorer school performance, difficulties with attention, impulse control, behaviour regulation, cognitive functioning, and emotional difficulties.

The Child & Adolescent Sleep Clinic at Flinders University provides assessment and treatment for common sleep problems from infancy, through to childhood and adolescence. We have appointments available in the coming weeks, allowing families to address their child’s sleep difficulties to help them perform their best during the school year. After obtaining a GP referral, families pay a once-off gap of $300 (reduced for health care card holders), with no further out-of-pocket costs for subsequent appointments.
