Reunions

The next round of invitations is out and about:

Class of 1980 40 Year ‘catch-up’ Reunion and Class of 1981 40 Year Reunion will be held together on Friday 18 June 2021, upstairs in the new Thomas Pavilion. This will be a dinner, arrival from 6.30 for 7.00 pm start and the evening is expected to conclude around 10.00 pm. Partners are welcome to attend.

Invitations for the Classes of 1970 and 1971 50 Year Reunions Lunch on Old Scholars’ Day, Friday 30 July, will be out next week.

Unfortunately, the Victorian lockdown recently affected a number of Old Scholars hoping to attend their respective year group reunion. With the lockdown being lifted, we hope that Old Scholars will again be able to make it across the border for the next round of reunions, Annual Dinner and Anniversary Ball.

Maths in Industry

We welcomed back John Fretwell and Thomas Beecher, both in the Class of 2019, to take part in the Maths faculty’s ‘Maths in Industry’ day. Within their respective fields, John is studying nursing while Thomas is undertaking data analytics. Both have a great need to apply an understanding of Maths.
