Vale Ron Fieldhouse

It is with deep sadness that we learnt past parent Ron Fieldhouse recently passed away at the age of 97. Ron has been a wonderful supporter of Westminster School from its inception. In fact, he enrolled his eldest son even before the School was opened . Subsequently, he enrolled all of his children. Following generations of the Fieldhouse family ensued with two great-grandchildren at Westminster today. Ron was a very kind, pleasant and a well-liked person who was one of the School’s early benefactors. He was a trustee of the Westminster Foundation and served on the Foundation Board for 18 years. The School is indeed very fortunate to have had Ron’s contribution to the development of Westminster School. Our condolences are with Ron’s widow Coral; Old Scholar sons Les (’69), Chris (’75), Steve (’83) and Jon (’85); Old Scholar granddaughters Ann-Marie Van Kruyssen (’90) and Carolyn Evans (’93); great-grandchildren Max and Angus (both Year 9), as well as his extended family.

Thank you to Past Staff Member David Jarman for his assistance with this vale for Ron Fieldhouse.
