Golf Day

Enquiries are coming in steadily and we have already received some team forms. I am seeing some strong contenders for the ‘team of the day’ but it would be a controversial call to make any predictions, such is the talent on display.

Friday 5 April at The Vines; 12 noon tee off, includes a light lunch from 11.00 am, a day on the green, including drinks; this is followed by the optional dinner and ‘green carpet’ presentations. Interest is strong so don’t leave your booking to the last in case you miss out securing a place for your team!

School Fun Fair

Continuing the tradition of well over 50 years, the Westminster Fun Fair takes place this Saturday 23 March, 9.00 am to 3.00 pm on the Preparatory School Oval. The weather is looking pretty good and we know that there is always plenty on offer. If you are interested in having a look around the School, feel free to join one of our School tours (10.00 am, 11.30 am and 1.00 pm). Amongst the fabulous entertainment program, we have Old Scholars Laura May (’08) from 11.45 am to 12.30 pm and Ashleigh Bullock (’16) from 12.45 to 1.30 pm. Plenty to see, great bargains to be had, wonderful food and refreshments to choose from – our School Fun Fair is considered to be one of the best annual School fairs in Adelaide! And if you have kids, there is always plenty to keep them amused from the rides and sideshows to seeing the Primary School Challenge obstacle course in action. Hope to see you there!

Vale Andrew Kitto (’78)

It is with sadness that we advise of the passing of Andrew Kitto (’78) on Saturday 16 March 2019, following an extended battle with cancer. Our thoughts are with his wife Suzy and family.

Upcoming Reunions – Reminders

We’ve just held our first reunion with a fabulous group from the Class of 2009 to celebrate their 10 Year Reunion - we’ll soon have some pics on our facebook page.

The next reunions are:

• The Class of 2014 5 Year Reunion is a cocktail-styled party here at Westminster, 7.00 pm Friday 29 March in the David Jarman Room. This event is being circulated by online invitation so don’t forget to spread the word! You can book through Trybooking https://www.trybooking.com/BAPTO
• Class of 2016 3 Year Reunion (this replaces this year’s Sundowner) – at the Warradale Hotel in the Fireplace Room, Wednesday 3 April, commencing at 6.00 pm. Nibbles and the first drink are on WOSA! All we ask is you confirm your interest not only through the facebook event set up on the Westminster School Old Scholars’ page but also through Trybooking https://www.trybooking.com/ZHZX - there is no charge as such but it will help with our catering!
• Friday 17 May – we have booked The Ludlow, Southbank, for our dinner so invitations will be out shortly to our Victorian Old Scholars.
