Welcome to all Old Scholars, particularly if you have joined WOSA following your graduation last year. We are constantly updating records so if you are aware of any Old Scholar who is not receiving news from us, by all means ask them to contact me or visit our website to update their details.

Our Westminster Golf Day will be held at The Vines Golf Club on Friday 5 April 2019, 12 noon tee off. Our registration form will soon be ready and you welcome to stay for a casual tea following the day’s play where the best (and ‘worst’) of play can be replayed. We’ve ordered a beautiful autumn day for Old Scholars, parents, past and current staff (if available) and your golfing buddies to enjoy this great course. We cater for men’s, ladies’ and mixed teams so start working on your team to join us at The Vines.
We have kept access open to our WOSA survey for maximum exposure and we’re really pleased with the level of response to help us guide the work of WOSA. Thank you to all who have taken part. As a show of our appreciation, there is the possibility of receiving some Mr Riggs wine and we’ll be drawing these shortly from those who have registered their survey with a name. If you haven’t responded, please take this opportunity to share your ‘Old Scholar’ thoughts about WOSA and what we do. The survey will take around 5 to 10 minutes to complete and can be accessed through: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WOSA. As a last and final call, the survey will be closed COB Tuesday 12 February in order to finalise the results.
Our Summer 2018 Edition was sent in December. If you didn’t receive or would prefer to view it via the online flipbook, you can view by the School’s website: https://www.westminster.sa.edu.au/news-and-events/publications. Moving forward, If you prefer to access future editions of Westminster News as an online flipbook, rather than a printed and mailed version, then please email ws@westminster.School and we’ll update your Old Scholar record accordingly. We’ll include the link in the eNews and if outside the cycle, we’ll email direct and use other means of communications to let you know it is ready to view.
It is with sadness that we advise of the passing of Past Staff Member Carol (Carolyn) Moule on Saturday 25 January 2019. Carol was a Mathematics teacher within our Senior School from 1998 to 2004. Carol was also highly respected identity in the education profession, having been the Executive Officer and a long-term office bearer of the Mathematical Association of South Australia. Our thoughts are with Carol’s family at this time.
