A Uniting Church coeducational independent day and boarding school on Kaurna Country, Adelaide, South Australia
Early Learning to Year 12
SATAC is now open for application to all universities and TAFE in South Australia. Applications that are in and have the $45 paid for by the end of September will receive offers in the first round for Year 12 students that go out on Monday 20 December. Applications that are submitted later than this will incur a late fee of $185.
Once an application is submitted and paid for, it is possible to go in as many times as needed to add or subtract courses and change the order up until Wednesday 1 December. The exceptions are Medicine, Dentistry, Oral Health and Veterinary Science at the University of Adelaide, which cannot be added after Thursday 30 September (late applications are not considered for these courses). Creative Arts at Flinders closing date is Monday 22 November. All other courses can be added up to Wednesday 1 December.
SACE results and ATAR will be available on Tuesday 14 December, preferences can be changed up until Wednesday 15 December, and offers will be released on Tuesday 21 December.
To date, only 23 students have put in a SATAC application. I have offered a series of seminars to assist students through the process but only 24 students have attended a seminar. There are still a number available. Even if you have an early conditional offer it is still imperative that you have a SATAC application to officially receive that offer. I urge students to see me if they need assistance. Students need to have their USI and SACE registration numbers in order to make an application, as well as their UCAT number if they completed it.
Interstate TACS are also open for application:
Victoria: www.vtac.edu.au
NSW: www.uac.edu.au
WA: www.tisc.edu.au
Queensland: www.qtac.edu.au
Tasmania: www.utas.edu.au
It is possible to have an application to every state and to receive an offer from all, then students decide their best option and may choose to defer the others.
All the Universities are offering Open Day Programs either online or on campus. It is necessary to register for those on campus.
