From the Chaplain - Edition 11 - 2021

For sixty years now the life of Westminster School has been informed by faith. It was our heritage then, it is in our values and culture now. Hope in God breathes through our life together.

Now, like a shark in the ocean that we know is there, this COVID menace that has surrounded us has come close.

As Chaplain, our collective faith background for me means that our current circumstances of unknowing which understandably give rise to anxiety and worries are actually held in the embrace of the Divine.

Somehow, in the mystery of faith we are part of a much larger picture.

We are befriended by the Universe; life and circumstance are for us, not against us.

We can trust that all will be well.

We need not fear.

We are never alone; God is with us.

My prayers continue for all the community of Westminster.
