Friends of Westminster - Edition 1 - 2019

Welcome to 2019! I hope your family has settled well into the new school year. I would like to welcome all new families to the School and thank those already a part of the Westminster community for their ongoing support. Friends of Westminster is the community group that represents parents at the School so we are asked to consider things that affect the community and we also get to find out more about upcoming plans that the School has around certain matters.

Friends of Westminster (FoW) has a very busy term with our annual Fun Fair, which will be held on Saturday 23 March. This is the main fundraiser for FoW and our community groups for the year and we would be very grateful to have our regular volunteers help out as well as welcome some new faces. We will be holding a series of Fun Fair committee meetings over the following weeks - please contact Sarah McHugh, E: mcstruds@gmail.com, if you wish to be included in these meetings.

Our first FoW meeting is on Monday 18 February at 7.00 pm in FoW house, which is at the other end of the building with the Health Centre. You can park near the Health Centre and walk along the path to the gate in the brush fence. If you would like to be involved in the activities at the School, meet new families or want to find out more about our community groups, please come along!
