Whether their dreams are out of this world, or you want to give them the space to learn and grow, a Westminster scholarship will help your child achieve more than they thought possible. Scholarships are awarded to various students every year and provide remission for tuition or boarding fees.

All scholarships listed below are for the year level your child will be in 2025. For the benefit of each Scholarship, please view the Scholarship Descriptions below the table.

Available to new students entering the School in Year 6 2024. Recipients will be able to demonstrate all-round excellence in academic and co-curricular pursuits, including sport, performing arts, service and leadership.

Benefit: 30% of tuition fees per annum from Year 6 until the end of Year 12
Available to new students entering Year 7 2024. Recipients will display all-round excellence in academic and co-curricular pursuits, including sport, performing arts, service and leadership.

Benefit: 50% remission of tuition fees per annum from Year 7 until the end of Year 12
Awarded to a new student entering Year 7 to Year 11 to complete their schooling at Westminster. The scholarship intends to reward and encourage students who demonstrate a commitment to self-improvement, show tenacity and strong work ethic and who achieve consistently high performance in each of three areas:
The Thomas Scholarship recipient will be an all-rounder student who shows the potential to develop into a leader in the Westminster and wider community.
Application: Online submission and interview for shortlisted candidates
Benefit: 50% remission on tuition fees per annum until the end of Year 12.
Awarded annually to a new or existing student entering Year 7 2024 at Westminster School. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a willingness and capacity to make a significant contribution to Performing Arts in one or more of the following disciplines: Music, Drama or Dance.
Criteria: Fricker Performing Arts Scholarship Criteria
Assessment: Online submission and audition for shortlisted candidates
Benefit: 50% remission of tuition fees per annum from Year 7 to 12.
Available to new or existing students entering Year 10 at Westminster School in 2024. The student must be the child or grandchild of an Old Scholar. The recipient will possess outstanding personal qualities and ability in both the academic and co-curricular areas. The intention is that any family can benefit only once from this scholarship.

Benefit: 30% remission of tuition fees per annum for Years 10 - 12
Awarded to new students entering Year 10 or 11 at Westminster School. The recipients will display all-round excellence in academic and co-curricular pursuits, including sport, performing arts, service and leadership.

Benefit: 50% remission of tuition fees per annum until the end of Year 12
Available to a new student entering Year 10. Recipients must be students who excel in Mathematics and who fulfil pre-determined criteria such as test results, performance in competitions and a selection interview. Scholarship holders must study the two highest units of Mathematics at Year 12 and show a sufficient all-round ability to make the most of their opportunities at Westminster.

Benefit: 50% remission of tuition fees per annum from Year 10 until the end of Year 12
The Clifford Boomsma Boarding Scholarship is awarded each year to new boarding students entering Years 7 to 10 at Westminster School in 2024.
The recipients will be all-rounders who display outstanding personal qualities and ability, in both the academic and co-curricular areas. One of the scholarships is reserved for a son or daughter of an ICPA (Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association of Australia) member.
Application process: Online submission and interview for short-listed candidates
Benefit: 50% remission of the boarding fees (excluding tuition) per annum until the end of Year 12
A range of Principal's Scholarships may be offered to applicants for new Year 10 entry to Westminster School. These bursaries will have varying remissions, and are offered to high performing students.
