Westminster School’s 60th Anniversary marks another important milestone in our history. We plan to celebrate our commemorative year online and through a series of tailored events, and invite all members of our School community to join with us in recognising this momentous achievement.
On 7 February 1961, Westminster opened its doors to 143 foundation students - all boys, across Years 1 to 8 (equivalent). It was on that day the School’s first Headmaster Douglas Highmoor Forder famously declared to the assembled students, parents, staff and live radio audience: Let the life of the School begin.
During our 60th year we are excited to be able to celebrate many of our Old Scholars at their class reunions. This year we look forward to hosting the Classes of 1970, 1971, 1980, 1981, 1990, 1991, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2011, 2019 and 2020. If you are an Old Scholar from any of these year groups and would like to register your interest for your reunion, please contact WOSAEO, Peter Trenorden ('77) on T: 08 8276 0234 or via Email.

We are adding an alumni section to our website and as a valued member of our community, we would love to hear from our Old Scholars. Whether you’d like to share a reflection piece on your time at Westminster, your journey post your time here or where your career has taken you – please send us your details by clicking the Share Your Story button and we will get back to you if we have any questions.
