Results from Race 1, 2007!

Westminster School's Category 3 team (1st VIII) came 1st on Sunday the 20th of May in a heart stopping race that came down to the wire!
The team, leading for most of the race suffered some minor mechanical problems which left them in second place with only a handful of laps to go.
The team worked hard to gradually reduce the gap until, two laps from the end our bike was able to draw behind Loxton's bike. Our rider turned on the speed, and we were able to grab the victory by an eventual margin of 19 seconds (unofficial).
Congratulations to the team, who in recent years have missed out on victory by very narrow margins!
